So many stars love to recreate the glamour of sex symbol Marilyn Monroe, and many agree that no one will ever be as natural at being sexy like Marilyn Monroe was.
Lindsay Lohan graces the cover of New York Magazine’s Spring Fashion issue and tries to recreate Marilyn Monroe’s legendary photo-shoot for Bert Stern in 1962 at Hotel Bel-Air in California. Marilyn’s photos known as ” The Last Sitting” were taken shortly before her death on August. 5, 1962. Lindsay also gives an exclusive interview inside the issue which hits newsstand Feb. 28.
When it came to being nude before the camera, “I was comfortable with it,” says Lohan, 21. Although Lindsay does admit to having done “250 crunches” the night before the shoot.
Marilyn Monroe died from an accidental overdose of prescription medicines, like so many stars these days. Lindsay commented on the recent death of her friend, Heath Ledger.
“They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone,” says Lohan.
The magazine brought up the fact that Lindsay herself has been in rehab 3 times and that the possibility may exist of a similar fate for her, the young actress replies with a tinge of annoyance: “I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
With no successful movie lately, atleast the girl is busy…….
Bloggers and Marilyn fans have mixed feelings today about Lindsay recreating this shoot which also took place at Hotel Bel-Air in California. Thoughts???
