Tyler The Creator arrested for ensuing SXSW riot

Tyler the Creator was arrested on Saturday after ensuing a riot at the Scoot Inn on Thursday during SXSW 2014, KVUE-TV reports.

The ‘Yonkers’ rapper encouraged a large crowd on more than one occasion to force themselves past venue employees. The venue was already at full capacity.

Austin Police Department have charged the Odd Future member with a Riot-Class A Misdemeanor. His bond is set at $2,500. The artist, whose real name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, could face up to six months in jail if convicted.

Tyler took to his Twitter page to talk about the incident.
